Mumbai: The 'Tax Sahi Hai Premier League (TPL) - Season 3' indoor cricket tournament, held at the Chitrakoot Turf in Andheri, concluded spectacularly. In the final match, the experienced Vyom Foundation team emphatically claimed the title by handing a crushing, one-sided defeat to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) by a margin of 124 runs.

Vyom Foundation captain Omkar Patole, who delivered an all-round performance throughout the tournament, was honored as the 'Player of the Tournament.' The event was organized by the MGA Foundation and held under the aegis of the Maha-Mumbai Indoor Cricket Sports Association.

Omkar Turns the Tide!
In the final, BMC won the toss and elected to bowl first. BMC bowlers Rupesh Chunekar and Rishikesh Jadhav bowled brilliantly early on, dismissing Vyom's Shreyas three times; consequently, the opening pair could manage only 4 runs in two overs. However, amidst this crisis, captain Omkar Patole stepped in and played an aggressive knock of 20 runs, stabilizing the innings. Subsequently, Ashwin Dongre and Prasad Ambre forged a crucial 29-run partnership. Finally, Aniket Madiye and Rohit Kharat unleashed a flurry of big shots, adding 26 runs to help Vyom Foundation post a challenging total of 79 runs.

Vyom's Record-Breaking Victory
Chasing a target of 79 runs, the BMC batsmen completely lost their composure. Facing Vyom Foundation's precise and disciplined bowling attack, BMC batsmen were dismissed a staggering 17 times. Consequently, in accordance with indoor cricket rules, 45 runs were deducted from their total score (-45), and the Vyom Foundation clinched a historic victory with a record margin of 124 runs. Vinaya Toraskar, President of the Vyom Foundation, praised the team's collective performance.
